Raphael's Inc was started in 1976, by an artist who began searching for a better way to frame
her art and recognized the value of adding fabric in the area between the art and the frame
as a means to draw the viewers eye into the picture. Her desire to have more fabric colors
and textures available as well as additional liner shapes evolved into what is now the
largest manufacturer and distributor of fabrics, matting and liners in the world. Through
extensive research and development into the products we offer and incorporating modern
day technology in our production methods, we have provided the creative tools and
materials used by thousands of Framers and Galleries to turn their distinctive designs
into unique framing. Many years ago we decided to combine our extensive line of
products for framers with those used by artists and photographers to offer one of the most
complete packages of products ever made available the artist community. Because of
our extensive inventory and production capabilities, we do not just purchase and
resell the products offered in this website, we actually manufacture most of them
right here in our warehouse in Spring Valley CA. We welcome the opportunity to be
