Raphael's Artist Panels
All of our Artist Panels are produced from our unique version of 3/8" thick Ultralite and are made to order. Please allow approximately two weeks turnaround time when you place your order. Our Ultralite stock is more rigid than "foam type" panels without being much heavier, but costs far less. All Panels start out with a coat of Acrylic Primer applied to all sides and a light sanding. From there we can add a coat of Acrylic Gesso or one of a handful of different Canvas options. We can mail you a set of swatches showing the Canvas options and can include a 4 X 6 Ultralite sample free with Muck orders. On this site we list and price a handful of basic size Panels, but the majority of the products we sell, (and where we are most competitive) are custom-made. The fastest way to receive a quote for an Artist Panel is to send us a TEXT or an EMAIL listing the sizes, finishes, and quantity of Panels you are looking for. Important Note About Shipping "Larger Panels". Although it is often overlooked when the government talks about the effects of inflation over the past few years, there has been a dramatic increase in the cost of shipping via two largest "small parcel delivery services" UPS and FedEx. The introduction of numerous new surcharges by both carriers on top of their typical annual "base rate" adjustments of 6-7% have increased the cost of shipping Panels larger than about 16" X 20" by as much as 50-60%! It is more important than ever to consolidate the product you need and be aware of the key factors that can effect your cost.
